Module 24, Floor lamp LUCEMOBILE
With light we can change the appearance of rooms, we can highlight certain areas or objects, we can keep others in the dark, of course only at night with artificial light. With the floor lamp LUCEMOBILE we can lighten and accentuate certain areas or an object in the room, such as a picture or a plant or we could focus fully on our current activity such as working on the desk or reading a book. It would be also convenient to roll the floor lamp LUCEMOBILE to the preferred place in the room and not to carry the lamp from place to place. The traditional Japanese concept is to place the lamps called “andon” in the corners of the room. This concept enlarges and expands the room visually in the evening.
The floor lamp LUCEMOBILE can take over additional functions, such as:
- Storage of books, journals and newspapers which are just in the works
- Shelf for a snack or drink
- Podium for an indoor plant
- Blotting pad for a notebook or/and
- Lightening a self-made picture, photograph or a printing on the light shade
The floor lamp LUCEMOBILE can, but does not have to overtake these tasks without turning into a wonder lamp. Usually we don’t have sufficient space to locate all these tasks, but LUCEMOBILE could be a good help to perform all these functions in one sweep. And of course it is also easy to build LUCEMOBILE, not with a genie but with local wood. The lamp shade out of linen will create a warm and friendly light, even with energy saving bulbs.
